Furniture Coverings With Slipcovers becoming more and more popular one would think that Morgan Upholstery is yet another business jumping on the band wagon. Not True. Morgan Upholstery has been creating Custom Slipcovers for over 30 years, for a very long time we were the only manufacturer in the area. A Slipcover by Morgan Upholstery is a quality cover that fits your existing sofa or chair "like a glove".  Every piece is created with your piece of furniture in our workshop, this is of the utmost importance if a great fit is to be achieved.    When and Why to choose a slipcover? *if your existing piece of furniture is in good condition ie. the upholstery is still great, you are just  tired of the "look"- a slipcover is great, many choose to have a lighter coloured slipcover for summer use and perhaps take it off in winter for a very different look. *some choose to slipcover when  there are small children or pets in the house, slipcovers can be easily taken off, and depending upon the fabric content, they can be washed or dry cleaned. *a slipcover can give you a little freedom to change the "look " of your piece of furniture ie. a full gathered skirt for a  country look, a box pleated skirt for an elegant look or a simple tailored skirt for the traditional look.

Drapery & Blinds Morgan Upholstery has been manufacturing draperies for over 30 years to the 1000 Islands area. From Sewn pleated curtains, to tab-top curtains, Balloon valances to Roman shades, we can do it. Morgan Upholstery sells a complete drapery hardware line of rods etc. Sun wreaking havoc with your carpets or on the furniture? We have a great selection of blinds from both the Hunter Douglas and Altex  blind companiesl ; these blinds range from the extremely popular Hunter Douglas Silouettes or Duettes to Sheerweave Solar Blinds, a gorgeous selection of wooden blinds are too  fabulous to ignore.  In addition Morgan Upholstery also sells custom aluminum mini and micro horizontal blinds and vertical blinds

Furniture Re-Upholstering In this day of re-cycling, more and more people are opting to re-upholster that older sofa or chair. A piece of furniture can quite easily be transformed from the 80's to the 2000's with a few yards of  fabric and a little TLC. The fashionable chunky style of so many sofas and chairs, is what is keeping   customers coming back to Morgan Upholstery. Many people find that the large scale of a lot of the furniture available is just not suitable for many  homes.  With more and more retirees down-sizing to condos- those classic lines of the traditional pieces of furniture are in high demand.
